Park-A-Palooza Challenge

Did you know the United States has over 6,600 park sites? That’s a lot of parks! Parks are a great place to spend time outdoors and participate in lots of fun activities. Spending time outside each day is important and can improve our overall health. 

Here are a few of the benefits that spending time outdoors can have on us:

  •       Promotes creativity and imagination
  •       Reduces stress and fatigue
  •       Improves motor development
  •       Increases physical activity
  •       Increases Vitamin D 
  •       Increases environment wellness

Try to increase your time outside by visiting parks near you! Check out our Park-a-Palooza Challenge to keep track of how many parks you visit and to create your own! 

Here are a few activities you can try at the park:

  •       Play tag
  •       Have a relay race
  •       Play hide and seek
  •       Host a picnic
  •       Go bird watching
  •       Go on a nature walk
