Outside In Workout

Allergies, sickness, weather and safety can sometimes keep us indoors. Regular sun exposure is the most natural way to get enough vitamin D to help us feel well. To maintain healthy blood levels, aim to get 10–30 minutes of midday sunlight, several times per week. People with darker skin may need a little more than this.

Vitamin D is also critical for your immune system, and with consistent exposure to sunlight, you can help strengthen your immune system. A healthy immune system can help reduce the risk of illness, infections and chronic disease.

Spending time outdoors is important but if you have seasonal allergies you may find yourself limited when allergen counts are high. Today, let’s imagine we are outdoors doing some of our favorite outdoor things!

Here’s How You Do It:

  1. Learn the movements
  2. Set a timer for
    • Rookie – 5 minutes
    • Pro – 10 minutes
    • All-Star 15 minutes
  3. Complete as many rounds as you can in your time frame

AMRAP (Time suggested above)

  • 10 Mountain Climbers
  • 10 Speed Skaters
  • 10 Bicycles
  • 10 Swimmers

Let us know how many rounds you completed! Follow us on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter or TikTok!
